A Central Coast Blue Regional Recycled Water Authority and Joint Council Meeting for the cities of Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach, and Pismo Beach was held on June 5th at the South County Regional Center. Councilmembers received an update on project design, permitting, and funding/financing pursuits, and a study session was held to discuss ways to promote local hiring during construction of the Central Coast Blue facilities. The partner agencies are committed to prioritizing employment of local residents on the project to reinvest in the local workforce and economy.
